Sundays Photo shoot- for my website launching!!

What a fun day sunday was. I had the absolute pleasure of having Morgan Falk come to my Studio to take professional pictures of all my accessories! What a job! I had two ladies come to my studio as well to model. Mrs. Creative Morgan herself had the fabulous idea of going outside -to really show off the beauty of the pieces in some great lighting and a perfect backdrop of a winter wonderland out side my house. Even though Sunday was the coldest day of year so far, my brave models and morgan went outside and had the most stunning photo shoot!

Just the beginning

First of all I wanted to thank you for Checking out my Blog!  I've never really written about myself before-I've never had a diary or Journal and I'm ecstatic to try this out!  I guess I'll start by Introducing myself & all my Accessories to you.  

My Name is Jessica I am a new mom of a perfect little girl named Emma Evangeline. 

I love to Make Jewelry & any Accessories I can think of.  As long as they are pretty I love to make 'em.  I've been asked many times over, how do I come up with my Ideas?!  

I have to say it truly does come from my brain.  I really have no book or pictures I copy from.  I simply love to have a unique style.  I want to offer something different - Something sparkly and perfect. I've never taken any courses just the thrill of making something from virtually nothing makes me very excited!  

Where and When did this all come about?  I got married on the very sunny day of June 5, 2009 .  A perfect day really.  Leading up to my wedding, just like everyone else I know was a challenge of balancing stress, money and wants.  

One of my wants was stunning jewelry for my sister who was my MOH and all my bridesmaids.  I simply couldn't find much.  What I did find was pieces that were either mass produced that everyone had.  Or I had to give up the idea of owning a house just to pay for Jewelry for my special girls!  WOW jewelry can get expensive.  So what did I do?  I walked into a Bead making store.  I asked the lady there if I would pick out the beads and crystals would she please put it together for me.  

She said- why not try it yourself?-  so I start thinking why not?..... why ... not.. 

So I did it.  And I was good at it.  And I walked away that day feeling extremely happy and proud of the work that I did. And that was the beginning... A little encouragement that turned into an idea that turned into a creation.

This new journey that I started happened quickly ; within a year I have done over 8 shows to showcase my Accessories and now I have my own personal Studio where all my jewelry is now on display 24/7.  I  keep my prices as low as I can.  So I can  share my creations with as many of you as possible. 

Well, that's it for now, Emma just woke up from her nap!  - Last night she learned to crawl - and she's FAST!  So I need to get this on Video!
